It's getting to be a bit much, don't you think?
I have to admit, I am a bit disturbed today, reading my friends list on this lj. I live in Oklahoma, which is a state that carried Bush, and yes, I voted for Bush. Now, before I get flamed and drummed out of the country and every list I may belong on, listen... I don't agree with all of his policies, but I agreed with even less of Mr. Kerry's. I voted against making same sex marriages illegal, so don't start ranting. I was disappointed to see that the measure passed here.
This area of the country may be living under old fashioned values, but it's full of good people who work hard every day and go home to their familes, just like everyone else in the nation. I don't really appreciate being thought of as a bigot, or 'stupid' just because of where I live.
The point of my rambling is just this. It's over. The votes have been counted.
I'm personally happy that the whole thing is over.
Let it go.
