There are times that being a mother isn't all it's cracked up to be. I try and teach her the basics of life. Be kind. Be polite. Be nice. Be clean. Be herself. Be her own woman.

WHY do I keep trying sometimes when it consistently gets thrown back in my face?

WHY do I keep worrying myself sick over making ends meet when she couldn't care less?

WHY do I keep trying to make things good for her when she keeps fucking things up?

She doesn't realize that the little things add up enough to finally make someone break.

Of course, Mother's Day is coming up. I hate it. Still.

Overall, parenting is great but it sure has its shit moments, doesn't it?

She'll get over it. As long as what you tell her is consistent, it'll be okay in the long run. It's just that it sucks in the short term.
