Heh. Had a date tonight. If you're reading this, note the time of the entry. Said 'date' was over pretty damn quickly. I went home, dropped Piper off at Taylor's for her slumber party, then ran back home to get ready and get out. Ran to Starbucks and got some chai (mmmmmmmm... Happy Christy), and picked up some new reading material. Went to dinner.

Dinner was decent (finally got my chinese food!). Had fun talking, drank green tea (again, mmmmmmm. Happy Christy). The check came and he suddenly remembers he left his wallet. At. Home.

I can tolerate many, MANY things (some of my friends KNOW how tolerable I am at times) but that's just stupid. If you ask a woman out, I'm pretty sure you're supposed to foot the bill. Correct?

Anyway, it's 9 PM, and I'm home with my chai and my new books. At least it was productive that way.


Oh! I think I still owe someone a drabble. Am I correct? My memory this week has been all shot to hell. ^^;

*hugs* Sorry that it ended up on that note. I don't exactly think a guy should have to pay for dinner, but at the very least he should expect to pay for his half! But in my opinion, whoever does the asking should foot the bill.

*grin* Someone on my flist was talking about getting chai earlier, so I just had to get some myself (not that I don't have ten different kinds of tea in my house right now ^^;)

I think I wouldn't have minded the whole dinner thing if he would've just come out and told me he was a little broke this week. *shrug*

awwwww so sorry to hear about your night ending like it did!! Not a very good thing to happen. I agree if you ask someone out you should foot the bill. I would expect a girl to pay if she asks a guy out just as a guy should pay if he asks a girl out.

The evening ended up alright. I had good tea and good books. Not much else in life I like as much.
