ooc: We're back...
Heh. It was a fun weekend (insert sarcasm here) with Piper and family. We had a mostly fun time, but no one got much sleep Thanksgiving night because Piper swore she kept hearing wolves *SNORT* and they were going to come eat us. Mind you, we were in a semi-nice camper. I made the mistake of telling her that "if they can open the door, then I guess they can eat us". Needless to say, I ended up with a bug eyed eight year old on my lap watching the door.
It was fun, I have to admit, but I don't know if we'll do it again soon.
Then, was going shopping yesterday for her Christmas, and when I tried to use my debit card, I got a really bad shock. The cashier told me she couldn't accept it, because I was apparently was over my balance in the bank. I called the bank and found out that someone emptied my account. Almost $800.
I did some calling around to the big credit agencies fraud departments and found out that someone had access to my SSN and used it to get three cards in my name and clean out my bank.
The bastard better hope he never gets caught by me.
Looking forward to a better week next week.
