I'm in a funk, my friends. The sleet patters on my window and usually, such sounds are soothing to me, but today.... I was to break the damn window to make it stop.

My head hurts. I have bronchitis and a sinus infection (infucktion) and I can't stop coughing. When I cough, I heave. It's pissing me off. I can't sleep more than three hours at a time, due to said coughing and heaving.

Her Royal Preteen Princess (aka little turtlegrrl) came home in a SNIT this morning. It was nice of dad to go get her for me so I didn't have to get out in this mess. Still, she came in and started complaining about being BORED. Well, duh. We're iced in, what does she expect? We can't run get movies, like she thinks we could. I tell her to watch something in the house and what does she tell me?

"I've already seen them all."

*headdesk*

I tell her to read or whatever and she proceeds to roll her eyes at me. There's no quicker way for her to piss me off than to roll her eyes at me.

I let it slide. This time. She's in the shower now since her dad doesn't make her bathe while she's over there. I won't let her smell while she's home.

Add the illnesses and the little diva that shares my home... what do you get?
