(no subject)

The day before Thanksgiving. It's a slow day, mostly, but I'm stuck at work. I guess it's not that bad, but I know I'll be busy later. Oh well.

Pies are done (from scratch this time, go me!) and the turkey and ham were cooling when I left to come to work. Piper and I are leaving to go camping tomorrow morning at 6 AM. We're headed to Texas and are hoping to have a good time. It's her first time camping, and I think she'll like it. We're sharing a camp trailer with my aunt and uncle and their daughter (who is also 8... she's exactly three months younger than Piper). It'll be a tight fit, but we'll manage. We're going to try and squeeze some fishing in, since she has decided she likes it now. *grin*
