Baby, it's cold outside!

I know, it's been a while since I posted in here, but I'm still kicking. It was a good holiday here, just coming down from it. Piper got a ton of stuff she really didn't need, but she loved it all. The year ended on a quiet note, and Piper got to stay up past midnight for the first time. She didn't last long after that, though. :-D

Winter finally made an appearance here, and I haven't been to work in two days. Imagine this... I had 4 days off for the New Year holiday, and then I've been off for two more. I feel gloriously lazy... ;-)

The roads here are slick beyond belief, and I went out to see if I could get my car going, couldn't een open the door. It was iced shut. Ahh, well. They closed the schools, so Piper is off, as well. She's driving me bat-crazy, but it's OK.

Been cleaning today, got the whole house vac'd and dusted! Go me! Anyway... I have to finish some laundry and such... don't think the coworkers would want me going to work naked... *grins at Krisha, who just joined our LJ community*
